 There are still

many other places to see and hidden spots!

Ushimado Olive Garden

It feels like walking around the Mediterranean.

Ushimado, also known as the “Aegean Sea of Japan,” is a scenic spot where about 2,000 olive groves are grown in the warm climate of the beautiful Seto Inland Sea(Japan Olive Co., Ltd.’s own farm).

At the olive shop on the top of the mountain, there are shops and cafes lined with olive oil and olive cosmetics, and there is also a 360-degree observation deck on the top floor.

However, I would like you to take a walk in the vast park of 10 ha, not just the superb view from the observation deck.First of all, from the “Bell of Happiness”, which is also certified as a sacred place for lovers. It is said that you can be happy if you ring it 3 times.

From there, walk slowly along the tree-lined streets, surrounded by blue sky, blue sea and olive green, and along the way there are stone pillars reminiscent of ancient Roman temples. You will feel as if you are walking around Italy.

On the way to the parking lot, there is a gelato SHOP that has many fans among Okayama residents (even if it is closed depending on the season).
